I own Pulsar 150 Electric Start for last 2.9 years and I must say that this is THE BIKE and one should buy only PULASR if he go for a 150CC range. The cost, the mileage and maintenance are all perfect. I am getting a mileage of 50km/litre even today and this makes me happy. Maintenance is low. In fact I do not remember any visits to the service centre other the scheduled services.
The only problem with this bike is the gear system. Sometimes its hard to shift gears. Seems this problem cannot be rectified.
I am not sure what are the differences with the new DTSI Pulsar. One good thing they have done is that they have reduced the size of the Petrol tank. I have heard of accidents where the rider hits the tank when hard brake is applied. Also the alloy wheels would improve the mileage and the looks would be better.
Looks wise its great. It has a masculine look and justifies the punch line Definitely male.
Three cheers to Bajaj. They have delivered a good product to the Indian consumer
