I was doing R&D on the reviews and visited many dealers here at Pune... Gonna get a Pulsar 180DTSi... till yesterday I was on for the 150, but what the heck for 5-10kmpls, I dun wanna sacrifice the 13kms extra top speed on the 180... I hope it gives all that I’ve read throughout and found common. After I buy the bike, If I find any defects, I’ll surely come back to this site...
Otherwise, If I remember the site, err ummm Mouthshut.com, I’ll come back and share my experience hehe... Been nice reading all the reviews, collecting information, finding that Honda unicorn isn’t available at Pune for the next two months and that bookings too are not open for it hrumph!... and Pulsar will be delivered in 3 days max... Hope it happens that way... By the way, I was gonna get a Pulsar anyways... Honda Unicorn too is good with 149 displacement and the only good thing about it is the tank which is better than the Pulsar coz it’s cozier to sit on that, but then Pulsar has other advantages, like the mileage that’s better ( fractionally) than the Unicorn...
Also heard that Unicorn is not upto Honda’s standards... Hmm! I dunno what that means... Both Unicorn and Pulsar 150 were good and were equally likeable... but then I opted for the 180cc and Honda doesn’t have it, yippeee, so now no confusions... I’m gonna go on a single wheel vrooom... Then Unicorn’s golden coloured mono-suspension is good, the ride is good, DTSi is not behind it, as both are the same even if there’s mono-suspension on Honda... blah, I wonder why I didn’t find any difference... I hope I get what I’m thinking of... ;)
