The Pulsar is good is you maintain!

Dear all,

I have been reading the comments from my friends who criticize Pulsar for the mileage and gear shift problems and what not!

The real problem with us Indians is that we will end up asking the mileage for a Ferrari rather than treating it as a sports vehicle. For someone who is complaining on mileage they should instead go for a Splendour or a Platina.

As an engineer myself I went strictly by the books from day one where one should not drive more than 40kms/hr until u reach 3000kms which I am doubly sure no teenager would dream of doing it!

Give the bike properly for service and fill Bardahl engine oil to give you a smooth ride.

I have been using the pulsar for the last 3 years and guess what the mileage is - 58-60kms/litre!

And of course I agree that there is a problem with gear shift you can have it solved to a great extent extent by replacing one spring in the gear column, which is the villian in any of the Bajaj outlets.

The new pulsar 2007 has no problems that was seen on its predecessors. And for God sake, don’t dare complain on the mileage for a sports bike ...give us a break!
