On date today, ive owned my pulsar for a year ......
Even now when I see my bike in the morning ... I just want to turn her on and ride around town
.......
The Bajaj pulsar dtsi ... is like a girl whom you can really get wild with and also take home to your mother.........you can trust my word ive had her for a year .. and still I feel I bought her yesterday.......
.......
the things about her that still fascinate me:
>the cold engine in the early mornings still comes to life at the click of the ignition button
>at every green light.. I get to leave everyone else behind... without a lot of throttle
>as on of my college seniors pointed out its a lovers bike .. the girls just love it..
>for a racing motorcycle racing enthusiast ... the handling and feel as compared to bikes of other makes goes like this
....>only pulsar has that ducati racing clutch feel(the hard feel-not for mommas boy)
.....>the weight balance of the bike... its such an adrenalin rush to bend the bike into the corners... still so easy
.....>the shocks and the breaks.. the heavenly soft things when you are riding with a girl.....and those heavy duty products of extreme engineering when youre playing around.....
well... all beautiful girls have moles on their bodies... so does the pulsar have downsides ......like... keep ripping around and the milege drops..... the rear tyres of the older pulsar 150 models(before intro of alloy wheel, exhaus-tec models) are prone to have punctures... ive had four tyre flats in the last year........ and thats it... no other probs........
all in all ..... if you my friend are reading this review to make up your mind wether or not this bike is worth your time and money.... then the bigger question is....
are you worthy of a pulsar ......
if you are a ..... motorsport enthusiast...... demand respect on the road..... are the alpha male...... go buy this ...... but if youre wanting to become like one of the above .... dont waste a pulsar.....i suggest you go hook up with some japanese chick(honda unicorn) or some indian girl from an orthodox family(tvs bikes)......
andmost importantly ... if a decent milege is what youre looking for and you are a college student ..... stick to the 125cc category... trust me I mean it.....its not slow like the executive bikes and they are not slow compared to the 150cc category and higher... and they return better milege then 150cc bikes
