Bajaj Pulsar DTSI 150 CC
Does this all togeather sound Good - Reading the Name above ????? ( May be minus BAJAJ)
Bajaj is an indian baby . They are much known for their BAJAJ CHETAK of the recent past . Ofcourse their next hit is the Bajaj Pulsar .
Let me get in to the Topic straight away. This is such a wonderful initiative from the Bajaj group . At last they have designed a product that could be much liked by people of almost all Class .
We can deffinitely appreciate the overall Package .I have read from a Magazine that the Motorcycles manufactured in INDIA served to be one of the most effecient for the cost of purchase. The pulsar is a Hit mostly on these lines , in comparison with its competition .
The common Indian Needs a Bike that should look Good ( Definitely ) , Makes a Very Reasonable mileage , Good Service network , Powerful and Ofcourse should Cost Descent - So he expects every thing .
This is all met on the pulsar , ( Ofcourse ) as per the manufacturers spec .
His competition on the same 150 CC category was less atleast with one of these qualities . In addition the Pulsar Offered additional Goodies like Button Start , Disc Brakes - on a Very cleverly Priced package .
Me too was caught up for the same Price and package and I still repent for that .
I had a SUZUKI SHOGUN earlier and I would like to enjoy the spirit of bike driving a lot . Driving one of the most powerful bikes for a long time , I dont want to compromise on power on my next bike . Being Married I just, not again wanted to be a rash driver . Yet , I still needed ample power on my bike so that I can push it at times . So that I chose the 150 instead of the supersonic 180 CC pulsar . This was my second mistake on this bike .
Now to tell u my personal experience , I feel that this bike is still a protocol and yet under testing Because the bike feels so .
The transmission is not so smooth , Its at times very rough and dry .
Being so heavy the wheels rims get damaged/ Bent sooner and results in poor ride quality - Probably its life threatening while cornering.
Suspension feels to be very heavy and tight - I felt it irritating on the silky smooth Indian Roads .
Riding Posture almost quite artificial .
The materials used were not of the quality of this premium segment - Can see rusted surfaces almost everywhere on the Bike .
Mileage not as promised on the specs .
Not so powerful as mentioned on most of the Reviews ( Couldnt even touch a 90 KMPH on comfort - strains much like a 100cc Fourstroke) .
and lots more on the negatives . The Bikes scores a overall 60 marks on each of its features making it to score an average of 60 again .
But can say clearly that it doesnt score good , in not even any one of its features - Looks , Mileage or Power .
The latest pulsar include features like ALLOY wheels and Gas filled suspensions without any price revision which would suppress few of its issues , Thats how I said the bike is still under testing .( So whats that about the early buyers - Should they live in pain )
Apart from all these factors , the Dealer network Bajaj has chosen is the most stupidest of all .These guys are not at all professionals .
Overall I lost confidence in the Entire bajaj products that I ve decided not to buy any of the Bajaj products in the future .
Im planning to sell of my Pulsar as soon as POssible .
So , My dear Reader , Please Think again before U choose a PULSAR
