The King gets updated often, Now with Alloy wheels

Bajaj Pulsar, the king of bikes is anyones dream!!! atleast for youngsters...

IT GETS UPDATED TOO OFTEN AND HELPS ZIP UP SALES AND BUYERS ENTHUSIASM

Alloy wheels, Gas Shocks and what not???

If you are planning to buy one, then you have come to the right place !!!

If your choice is a premium bike in the range 55, 000/= plus, then this is the ONE!

I will briefly give you the pros and cons and why I choose Pulsar as the best!!!

  • Firstly check out the competition... Hero Honda CBZ, the TVS Fiero, Honda

Unicorn...

The CBZ has poor mileage and bad seating position...

The Fiero is slightly good in mileage but loses on styling and a fifth gear...

Unicorn is certainly a good bike, but not for India as its market is poor and a bad

service network.

SO WHAT DOES PULSAR 150 DTSi HAVE???

  • MILEAGE OF 45-50 In city conditions... and 55-60 in highway...

  • Digital Twin Spark ignition or DTSi uses two spark plugs to increase fuel efficiency

and better power...

  • 5 step adjustable shock absorbers to suit your road conditions...

  • 5 speed gear box for efficiency and power...

  • Excellent Gear Box... All down style helps first time bike users!

  • Nitrox Shocks! (just a fancy name.... No major effect is found due to this!)

  • Best in class chasis for better road handling...

  • Good styling to impress anyone with style and comfort....

  • Excellent power and mileage balance...

  • Alloy wheels (optional) helps prevent wheel bends and adds styling!

  • Best Resale value like the Maruti’s of 90’s!!!

With my bike (150 DTSi) ticking 25000 kms, I find no major problems.. If at all you ask me to name some, it would be just a few puntures and lose mirrors and other petty things...

What Bajaj has done?

  • Cheap price

  • Good quality

  • Excellent service networks

  • Cheap and easy Maintenance

BAJAJ 180 DTSi HAS ALL THE ABOVE SAID ADVANTAGES WITH REDUCED FUEL EFFICIENCY, BETTER PICKUP AND 1 UP FOUR DOWN GEARBOX

What I like here is Bajaj’s own R&D team doing a brilliant work with the pulsar exceeding its partner namely Kwasaki which could not prove much other than the Caliber 115!!!

THE NEGATIVE ARENA OF PULSAR ???

  • Sometimes petty problems may annoy you... An example would be a bad mirror

positioning... Even BBC Wheels, a show dedicated for indian automobiles gave this

critic... This was not even considered by the Bajaj team even after an year...

  • Its difficult to name anymore how much ever hard I try?

At this juncture, I would like to narrate an experience of mine... Hope I am not boring you...

I met with a minor accident with an auto where the auto suffered a dent and a broken blinker...

Guess what happened to me??

The auto hit my side crash guard and it was so sturdy that nothing moved.... I did not lose my balance and safely went thru.... Had it been a lighter bike like splendour, I would have certainly fallen due to loss of balance !!!

IT GOES FASTER!!!!

My bike has clocked 120 kph, only 10 kph lesser than the Karizma prized high on the ramp!!!

SO whether you are young or old, this one would certainly suit you....

With so many pulsars on sale in cities, its definitely ’’the king of bikes’’...

DONT GET CARRIED AWAY BY PEOPLE SAYING THAT ITS A HUGE BIKE OR ITS DESIGN OF TANK IS AWKWARD AND DANGEROUS... SO YOUNGSTERS YOU CAN CERTAINLY CONVINCE YOUR PARENTS BY QUOTING ITS BETTER BUILT AND HANDLING!!!

The size of the petrol tank of the new pulsar DTSi is slightly reshaped without anyones notice to account for reducing fatal accidents... The older avatar had its tank buldge suddenly at the end of the seat. This caused you to hit the tank on sudden application of brake... Even though this problem is sorted out to a certain limit, remember that the basic design is not changed!!! So a small element of risk always remain but its advantages certainly outweigh the cons!!!

So ENJOY Riding The KING!!!
