Everything is fine about a pulsar.....but.........
The rear braking is really bad compared to CBZ or fiero.....no comments on the disc brake.
Even, the tyre of the new pulsar 150 dtsi is a kind of unsafe(road grip). I have almost died 6 times till now.
I have rode many pulsars till now. Many had gear shift problems at some point of time. My bike was really bad. But after my recent service, gear has got better.
The chain drive of the new 150dtsi pulsars I have seen, keeps getting loosened.
I feel pulsar parts are quite expensive.
Recently my bikes service cost came upto 2500/-. I had to change the disk pad, brake shoe, fork(near handle), chain drive, front suspension oil, both the spark plugs were changed though they were in good condition(mentioned in the manual).
I feel, in bangalore the best petrol for our pulsars is either SHELL or HP. (mind you!!! Not all HP petrol bunks provide good petrol. The choice should be made by you).
My pulsar 150dtsi is a 5 months old, copper brown bike. kilometres run-9000kms. top speed till date 105km. No modifications.
