I found less reviews on the pulsar 150 then CB Unicorn, Well. Before taking 150cc segment bikes most of the people try to find out what are the great features are there in the bikes. So also I did the same thing and booked CB Unicorn a year back after finding the positive response from CBU owners.
Also it is noticeable most of the reviewers are still not able to decide which bike is the best one between Unicorn and pulsar 150.
Friends, not much to say about Unicorn bike as it has smooth engine, comfortable and reliable one. Most of the bike owners already posted their experience. My bro purchased Pulsar 150 before 1 year and it crossed 18k km now, and it’s a wonderful bike and I have also drew it many times and trilled with its advance feature.
I booked unicorn because we have one pulsar already but I didnt have much experience with Unicorn. After taking many test drive, Unicorn looks smooth and easy to ride but didnt buy it because I couldnt find anything new in that bike except good engine.
I was waiting few new features would come in this as per my requirement but nothing is changes and when discussed with show room executive, they are busy with bike bookings and told no new changes in it.
Let’s see few great features in it CBU.
Smooth engine
Less noise
handle weight is on the bike (won’t feel handle weight on the body)
Handle is positioned bit up according to the riding position therefore feel very comfortable.
And many other features which are already detailed by others(Pros and Cons)
It looks lot of investment is done only for the engine and other requirements are ignored.
Now let’s see what great features in Pulsar 150.
Great engine(bit noisy)
Good pickup, road grip and good control
Riding position is very comfortable(sportive)
Advance technology
Electrical features are awesome, like automatic off indicators, bright headlight, engine on/off switch, stand indicator(these are very useful features specially riding in city and busy traffic).
Pulsar has bit noisy engine but it doesn’t mean it will not perform well and reliable. It may be the engine design makes noisy but it’s very powerful and reliable one. Our pulsar has not given much problem till now even after 18k km. I have taken it for long drive for more then 600 km and had awesome experience. No back pain, not much strain, and off course no problem with bike. We are maintaining the bike very well with Bajaj authorized service center. If we maintain any vehicle(serviced on time) it will give you good response. One thing I must mention here that once after 10k km or 15k km run, we have to replace few parts and then availability of spare parts and cost meters a lot.
Coming to Service center, I am satisfied with the Bajaj authorized service centers. Till now they have taken care of my all complaints and given good services. Personally I met service center manager and he is very helpful to get the quality of service. And off course spare parts are very cheep and available.
Now friend now you decide what your requirement is and go for it. Both the bikes are really good. And you decide what your equipment is. I didnt want to have a bike for about 5 or 10 years without having an advance features and which will not full fill my requirement. Therefore finally I purchased one more Pulsar 150. And it’s already crossed 1000 km and I must say it’s a great sport bike.
