I was one of the first buyers of 2017 RS200 from my city(Visakhapatnam). I will be frank and specific about each and every aspect. Let me tell you what has happened since the day 1 of my purchase. Please read it completely and don't judge yourself without reading complete story.
After the payment was done, I went to take the delivery of the bike and mechanic was checking to make sure that everything was good. When he was about to hand over me the bike, it took 4-5 trails to get started. When I asked him about it, he said - "Just poured petrol. That's why!". I blindly believed it took the bike and went on.
Since the day 1, I have faced Starting problem each and every time I try to start the engine. For the first 1 week, my bike was in Bajaj service center more than with me. I went to them for 25 days continuously without a break in between.
Every day scenario was the same - 1) I take the bike complaining starting problem 2) They keep it until evening and say everything was done 3) I go for a test ride before taking it back 4) Still the same problem persists 5) They ask me to come back again the next day.
It happened for 25 days. Every day they did only one thing. Resetting the ECU sensors. One day I raged against general manager and asked to change battery, ECU everything. After changing the battery, problem was gone.
I thought everything was alright and went on. After 2 days, same thing happened. I again started taking it back to them. I knew that the problem is in ECU. I asked them to change ECU and they were delaying it. They again did something with battery. This time problem reduced mostly but still remained. And after 3 days, I felt ashamed of my self and stopped taking it to them.
By today, it has been more than 4 months and still I can see that problems sometimes.
Other than that, there is nothing to complain about the bike. I simply loved the bike. Previously I have used Duke200 for 2 years. RS200 is something that Duke200 doesn't have.
## Performance is amazing. No other bike within this segment have this acceleration other than Duke200.
## After riding Duke for years, RS200 riding comfort feels so amazing.
## And mileage, listen one thing carefully. No motorcycle with Fuel injection will have mileage problem. It completely depends on your riding style. Maintain lesser RPMs and you'll get 35-40 in city and 40-45 in Highways.
