I am among the unlucky few who happened to purchase a Bajaj
Saffire about 5 years ago. After spending huge amount of money in service and
repairs all along, I haven’t had even two months of trouble free ride at a
shot, since purchase. Anyway since there is hardly any resale value, I had to
cope up with this substandard, third rate scum of a product.
Moreover I had to bear the brunt of so called "Bajaj service" excellence too. Recently after shifting from
Kerala to Bangalore I had experienced running
from pillar to post to get my vehicle serviced. I went to the first service
provider who blankly refused to take up servicing of the
vehicle and ask us to take it elsewhere. I have approached another showroom, which is ironically called popular(i don’t know why the hell they are being called so. due to such
substandard customer dealing they should essentially be called unpopular).
And they after posing one after another unreasonable hindrances
to take up servicing like "one week to do the
service"."Holidaying of the technician" etc. Finally asked me
to deposit 5000 Rs. before giving it to service. I have a humble request to
this so called "global two wheeler
major" to kindly take back this junk of metal box with wheels" and
pay me the cost of sheet metal(which it may actually worth). I had after being fallen prey to all their glitzy and glamorous advertising and promotional stuff is now going to strongly
advise every contact person of mine not
to touch any bajaj product hereafter. No wonder there is provision for product complaints in bajaj website. and if you try to upload something, it will provide error image.
