I purchased my wave in Feb 2006 after checking the price and engine capacity. I was told that it would give at least 50km per litre. But so far it has never given more than 30km per litre. And the engineers at the service centre has not been able to set is alright.
From the start the vehicle started giving problem that it would not start. After they change the battery it was ok.
Initially the engine stroke sound was very good. But after first service I find engine rpm is very high and the engineers are not able to set it right.
Otherwise vehicle has been working ok, may be due to low running as it has run so far only 3500kms. The people at EsPEE bajaj in Hardwar has been good enough to respond and attend my vehicle. But it seems like all other dealers they are also interested in money only. After one year they suggested that I take AMC. And after Amc they will ask money for some or other reasons.
The worst are Bajaj Manufacturers, who have discontinued this model within a year. How come their engineers and design department is so dumb that they came out with defective product and they themselves found that the product is not good and discontinued. And the dealer tells me that parts not available for this model.
Can one imagin that u pay Rs.40, 000/- for a branded vehicle and after one year it is discontinued and parts not available.
In my life I would not advise anyone to go for BAJAJ VEHICLES.
