This is my first review in mouthshut.com. Here I am stating the timewise experience with BAJAJ Wave.
10th October - Analyzed all websites and get shortlisted 4 flavours of scooters available in Indian Market ( Specially In our Town, Midnapur, West Bangal )
- Honda activa -
Pros :
:- ) Engineering of Honda ensures safety, quality and technology as well
:- ) Good Sales Persons , very fluent with all technical terms
:- ) Very well decorated and equipped sophisticated showroom and work shops with all modern facilities
:- ) Sturdy Look
:- ) Highly sophisticated design to ensure quick maintenance.
Cons :
:- ( Price is bit high without some basic parts like ( side stand , Foot Mat etc. ). With all standard fitting on road will cost you around 44 K.
:- ( Very Poor Mileage ( They are claiming 40 kmpl, think about the figure in actual road cond. )
- TVS scooty ( older 70 CC )
Pros :
:- ) Very candid look and sleek design
:- ) Low priced
:- ) Better mileage around 60 kmpl ( not tested )
Cons :
:- ( Small vehicle with less power
:- ( Less qualified sales persons can’t be able to convince customer
:- ( Looks very delicate
- Kinetic Honda :
:-( costly but less mileage ... no way at all
- Bajaj Wave
Pros :
:- ) 110 CC DTS I engine which is fitted in Pulser also. Very quiet engine with superb pick up.
:- ) Cheaper compare to other 100 cc vehicles. On road 39 K , show room price 33.5K.
:- ) Very good customer service.
:- ) 3 color choice ( red, black , purple )
:- ) Relaunch ensures better design.
:- ) Self start works even in the coldest days as well.
:- ) Average Fuel Efficient ( 45 kmpl )
:- ) Good load carrying capacity. With double ride also it moves smoothly without any engine noise of racing for extra power.
:- ) Very comfortable and wider seats ensures fantastic experience in long distance trips
Cons :
:- ( problem with self starter due to some technical snag from design desk. New modified versions of cluth assembly ensured trouble free self starting. Very prompt action taken by the company to rectify the problems.
:- ( Average can be enhanced by 5kmpl more by tuning properly. But, due to less experienced technicians its not possible.
Finally, We brough Bajaj Wave. Till date the over all experience for Bajaj Wave is still very positive. Good vehicle.. You can’t resist yourself from buying it once you drive it ..
