Hi Friends!
»»»»»»»»»
“World Bike” is the caption given to the Wind motor cycle introduced by the Bajaj company in the year 2003. It is the probably the first 125 cc bike. The advertisement of this bike is absolutely great. Not only the advertisement but also the bike is equally good. This bike is very less frequently seen on the roads, but its owners would be very satisfied with its performance. Unfortunately the Bajaj company has stopped the production of this bike, and is promoting Discovers Production.
The bike was re-launched in the year 2004. The difference between the latter and former is the graphics on the bike. The new colours introduced then were great. Especially the orange and black combination is very good and mind attracting. The main rival of this bike then was Yamaha Fazer which also belongs to the same segment and which flopped due to its performance.

Engine and Transmission →
̃̃̃̃̃
The engine of the Bajaj Wind motorcycle is a 124.6 cc, aircooled , single cylinder, 4-stroke engine. There are no complaints about the engine of this bike. The engine is long lasting is very smooth even during riding in fast speeds. The engine gives very less sound when compared to other bikes like Callibre 115 and CT-100. The pick up of this bike is very good. While riding this you get a feeling of riding a good, new and powerful bike. This bike is surely better than Callibre 115.
The power of this bike is 10.8 hp (8.1 kW) @ 8500 rpm. The maximum torque of this bike is 9.8 Nm (7.2 ft. lbs) @ 7000 rpm. The gear box consists of five gears. The gear shift of this bike is very smooth and the gear box gives no problems like the Pulsar’s gear box, which gives problems while going fast during long journeys. This is the first bike in the 100-125 cc segment to have five gears. This bike has no electric start. It has a normal kick start. There is no starting problem, except during winter when the engine gets cool and doesn’t start quickly. This bike has a normal engine, not any DTS-i engine like the discover. Discover would have been great if it had five gears like this bike.

Comfort →
This bike is very similar to Callibre 115 and Ct-100. The wheel base of this bike is normal, not too big or not too small. This bike is best suited for the people who’s height is 5 to 5.5 feet. The rear tyre is broad enough that is gives good road grip to the bike even in worst roads. The suspension is a normal one. Its is also good, normal as other bikes. The handle bar is straight and has good grip. The panel consists of three meters. The bike has also a disk brake [ optional ], but it will cost a little bit more. The normal version has drum brakes like the other bikes. The head light of this bike is also powerful and is normal like other bikes.

Styling →
This bike is truly a style segment. This bike is available in four colours. The best among them is the orange black combination. The bike’s dome is very high, and thus giving a sporty look. The silencer of this bike is not normal as the other bikes silencers like Ct-100 and Splendor, which is straight. This bike’s silencer is some what broad in diameter when compared to other bike silencer in its segment and is placed in elevation. This also gives the bike a sporty look. The rear aluminum grip is not in silver colour but its in black colour which also adds more style to this bike. Really this bike grabs attention where ever you go.

Being a 125 cc bike it gives a decent mileage of 60 kilometers per liter.
