The latest bike from Bajaj, the XCD125(read as Exceed 125) is a 125 cc bike. This vehicle has been put up in bajaj website. It looks just awesome. the Low hung face gives this bikes a sporty look like Pulsar. When I initially saw it it thought it would be a Wind 125 or discover 125 clone. But its really refreshing to know that its got a whole new engine. more exciting is trhe fact its a new technology altogether!!!. The DTS-SI(Digital Twin Spark Plug – Swirl Induction) which is introduced in this bike, is supposed to increase the mileage. As DTSi is meant to improve performance, DTS-SI optimizes performance and improves mileage!! THe company sources claims a whopping 108 kmpl from this bike.
But I feel anything above 65 froman 125 cc bike is a boon for Indian bike commuters. The engine also produces 9.53 Ps of power and 10.85 Nm of torque.As the figures show this bike is not on the lines of pulsar brothers. Further more, the bike has latest features like the LED taillamps, Full back engine with black alloys. The air ducts near tank is jus too sexy. And now for the most awaited ques. The price. The sources say it ll be around 41K to 44K giving Splendour and passion the toughest battle to confort with!!!. With the TVS Falme(125cc) also in contention to grab the sweet spot (125cc segment), and HH planning to introduce 2 new models(not a clue about it), the market is getting ready for some serious battle.
