I got the bajaj XCD 125, last month just moved in to banglore last month so I was in a hurry, as comuting with out 2 weeler is a nightmare here, I had almost decided to go for TVS starcity as I was using TVS victor in bombay for 3 years, and actually my bank loan got rejected as I was new to banglore, then since I had to make a upfront payment, I though XCD fits my budget and went for it, the first use the riding comfort was good, but the average I couldnt believe it.
I went for a long drive 40 KM approx on highway maintained constant speed of 40 and my average was not more than 45, I approached the dealer some MIAM motors in RT nagar, they r a subdelaer, I went to them as leading showrooms did not keep stock of the basic kick start model, they said it will be OK after first service, but now after hte first service its the same, bajaj claims 109 but here I am not even getting half of it. Its not that I didnt do my ground work before going for this bike, but actually I get a feel the review sites are bloged by bajaj agents.
Not only that this bike has trasmission problems too, some times as if you never get the 4th gear, some time u r at a signal and to sart of u put into 1st gear the bike will not move, the nutral light is gone but vehicle will not move, u have to put it back to neutral and put into back again , will all hte vehicles honking behind u, I really regret I got this bike, I feel the victor was gem of a bike, never had problems with it.
I think the parts may be chaged by the subdealer, I dont thing another service center will not help as they will be hand in glove they will never solve this problem, I feel duped, I am thinking in terms of approaching hte consumer court for this.
