I am going to file a case in consumer court shortly and I will post the progress of the case on this site,
XCD is the worst bike I have seen, it has problems since the day I have bought and shocking that bajajs authorized service station in Delhi is not able to understand what problems I am highlighting to them.
On each complaint they have kept my bike for full day (3-4 times) and one day when the second service was done but no improvements and bikes performance is deteriorating day by day.It still has the following problems which started after 7 days of purchase.
Average is at present around 50-55 kmpl in Delhi city conditions (even after second service)
due to increased RPM, engine makes lot of noise which is more than tolerable for any new bike and this sound increases after the bike has run 20-30 kms.
Juttering in the clutch is there, it is very difficult to drive the bike at lower gears
On double ride bike is not able to pull smoothly, you can notice this fact when overbridge is crossed on double-ride
knocking sound is there in the bike
Bajaj people are not sure whether a part called "plunger" is to be replaced in my bike, they are telephoning XCD owners and replacing this part as per the batch, but not viewing the state of problem.
i have wasted my days to get these faults serviced with service center and even one day with Bajaj Regional office in delhi but of no help,
it seems that I have lost my hard earned money on this faulty product,
