I am a medical representative working in cipla.i bought this bike 1 month ago. I bought this bike from cochin. This machine is a combination of power, pick-up, comfortability and milege..
It gives 68 km milege till now and hope that it will increase.
Before buying this bike i was using suzuki shogun and after that splendour then libero.
Spendour is a very good bike but it can never ride continously more than 20kms due to back pain ..........as my job needs riding long distances continously. L ibero is suitable for riding long distance but lack of pick-up.i ride xcd continously more than 60 km and still no back pain.thank you bajaj.......
The speciality of xcd is that it tooks only few time to reach the speed of 75 from 55 in high ways...................(as it indicated by digital speedo meter.) This factor is very much used while overtaking in highways. .......very niceovertaking in highways in the case of glamour and shine performance is very poor b/w 55 and 75.
Headlight beam is excellent even in low rpm in xcd.
Can ride in 18 kms spped in fourth gear with out hearing sound of crank hitting.
Seating position is so comfortable.
Suitable for long journey.
Have ridden many bikes in this class-------glamour, zeus., shine.............
Xcd is so smoother than glamour , shine, zeus - - -which all vibrates above 65 km speed.
Xcd is very smoother one .......**never vibrates even in 75 km speed.
A main problem i found in xcd is that engine is overheated suddenly after travelling 8-12 kms.then it starts to vibrate in 40-45 km speed limit .before and beyond this limit engine is very smooth.so i decided to check it in the service centre next week.
First, second, fouth gears are powerful......but third gear lacks power ........even poor than 100 cc machine.
Fuel guage never shows accurate reading....some times it shows empty reading after fillig 2 litres of petrol.
I dont know how to use ride controller switch.so some one tell me the purpose of that switch..is it useful???
Providing a suspension for the front number plate is not useful in anyways.
It lacks a fifth gear and a disc brake.
