This a story of a army general of chhatrapati Sahoo ji Maharaj and a beauty of chhatrasal.
Chhatrasal was on the edge of war and surrounded by Mugal army. Any how mastatni came to Bajirao for help, initially Bajirao refused to help her but after watching her sword skills and her courage he agreed to help chhatrasal dynasty and by attacking on mugal army he rescued the chhatrasal but in confusion he attacked over mastani. So this is how love started among them.
After falling in his love Mastani moved to Saniwar wada - Pune, but Bajirao’s mother opposed for because of her religon and tried her best to kick her out from the Saniwar wada but as usual like other bollywood movies she refused to return and stayed in Pune .
As movie continues both kashi bai(Bajirao’s first wife) and mastani have a child and as the Kashi bai’s child grow he started hating Mastani and her child and Bajirao found himself helpless between Kashi bai and Mastani.
Soon elder son of Nizzam attacks on Marathas and to reply him Bajirao moves to the war field and defeats him.
Here the scene of stopping a flying arrow is awesome. Finally Bajirao suffer by wounds and mean while Bajirao’s elder son emprison Mastani and started tourcher herbut there director did a mistake Mastani’s son and Kashibai’s son are of same age but on screen they were looked very different and the climexs is full of emotions.batter to watch it
In my opinion this is The must watch movie.
