Bajirao Mastani should be seen for its cinematography. For its costumes and sets. For the music and the dialogue.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali has poured his heart out on the screen for the world to see, it seems. The three main actors have done an amazing job. I liked how authentic Ranvir Singh’s marathi accent sounded to my ears.
However. The story is mediocre bodering to be somewhat good. The two main characters are poorly written. It seems both Bajirao and Mastani have only one dimention to them, being a lover to each other. They even came off as spoilt brats somewhat. Not caring about the world, who is getting hurt because of their actions! Not the loved ones.not the Rajshahi .nothing. Only priyanka’s character had a bit of a grace to it.
