A story of a famous warrior who did not loose even single war on the battle field but lost his life to religious indifference. the story deserved a big canvas and that’s what it got. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie is a true visual spectacle.
I saw this movie yesterday(22nd Dec) and I was very impressed with the whole movie. Let me break down the review
Sets - Absolutely Stunning. The art director certainly deserves a lot of credit
Cast - Performance from Ranveer and Deepika are very good, but for me Priyanka steals the show. She has portrayed the character of Kashi Bai to perfection.
Music - Compliments very well with the movie, Back ground score in war sequences are exceptionally good
Screenplay - could have been better, the movie could have been cut short by at least 20 mins
Direction - good in parts and could have been better, such a great warrior who never lost a war, there could have been more screen space about his victories.
Overall the movie kept me hooked on, dragged a little towards the climax, overall a good movie.
