This is a review from a comman man who wants to enjoy 2-3hours . it is not from an expert perception.
The film starts with baajirao played by ranvir singh crowned with the title of peshwa and mastani played by deepika padukone goes to baajirao asking To defend her city bundelkhand from the attack. He saved her and gave his katar to her which means she gets married to baajirao according to her custom. Not known to baajirao he came back to his place where his family and first wife kashibai played by priyanka chopra waiting for his arrival . mastani fell in love with baajirao came to his place with baajirao also in love to mastani . he accept her as his second wife . but the family refuses to accept and there start conflict between the family baajirao and mastani . but kashi bai showing a great maturity sacrificing his love his husband baajirao and accepting mastani. And for the later part u have to see the film .
PROS- 1. Awsome acting by ranvir singh and all.
2 . direction is excellent .
3. Film locations are excellent and sets are well decorated.
- It is for those people who wants to watch class cinema.
5.all Songs are very good . people saying mediocre songs but if u watch in theaters and after coming home listen to all songs with sit in your mind.
- Excellent dialogues .
Now coming to cons - this is my personel opinion about the film .
If u want a masala type of film then this film is not for you. I really feel bored in the later part of the film .
The film is slow and last 15 to 20 minutes are very boring . despite of grand sets awsum acting excellent songs the film is not for small city people. They might not understand this kind of class. For me it is a good film to watch . but if u r going for some entertainment this might not entertain you too much .
The acting of ranvir singh is his best till date. Deepika padukone is as usual look beautiful and her acting is also pretty well. Coming to priyanka chopra . she being the senior as an actor among the three . and acting is very very matured . she create the emotions very well in both the parts of the film. She played a very sweet wife in the first part and when the situation gets changedin the later part she showed the emotions of a sacrificing woman.
The acting of bajirao’s mother played by tanwi azmi is superb.and other actors playing small roles too have actes well.
