I still remember my college days in Pune when we used to order all our birthday cakes from this place and we enjoyed it so much each time. It was almost like the entire hostel always had this unanimous pick whenever we thought of planning or birthday or even simply order some pastries to have together with friends. It has only been a year and I so miss those times!
The best part about Baker’s Stop is the Photo Cake. Just imagine, not just the name written but the birthday boy’s image crafted right on top of the cake. Now that’s something that makes one feel so very special on a birthday. It’s like, ’this cake belongs to me’. And trust me, these guys are creative enough to give it the perfect look and feel with no scatter and blurriness of the image.
Although all of their varieties were simply scrumptious and we relished them all, Charles Angels and Baba and Baba O Rum were my personal favourites. I can have them in the middle of the night. Yes, I’m that much of a fanatic here.
