Balika Vadhu, what I say really I have no words to say about it….Its awesome
It traces the arduous journey of child bride Anandi from the brink of childhood to womanhood. she enters a new world which at once alienating and confusing. Torn away from the merriment of childhood, and her family, she has to accept and accustom herself to this new family of strangers, new relationships and accept her roles as friend, lover, wife, and mother as she forges her way in matrimony. This very unique show is produced by Sphere Origins.
The Story is very sensitively portrays the plight of children who are unwittingly forced into marriage, in the name of tradition, and have to bear the repercussions for the rest of their lives. Its shows the crual picture of society. Though India is developing fast but still there are many rural places where adolescent girls nd boys get married.
The role played by each and every artist in the serial specially cute little Anandi & Jagdish & of course Dadi Sa. She is negative not because she is suppose to be negative but because she is old and believes in traditions she has been taught during her childhood. Other characters are very well written and show grips you once you get hooked to it. Best part, there is no out an out vamp*
Lastly, no blasting background sounds (like we hear in Ekta kapoor shows). Sets are very glitzy and authentic with Rajasthani flavour. Catch this show Mon to Thurs on Colors TV at 8PMÂ - You for sure will find more reasons to LOVE this show.
