If you are looking for this resort as an option to stay better choose other option. There are various reasons for this which I wiil explain.
Once we started our journey from airport, it was a great drive till the moment taxi took a turn to bumpy drive. From the main road this is around 3 KM scary road to hotel with no road, no road light and you will never find anyone there to help you if needed.
Apart from that there is no conveyance available from the hotel to come to main road. This is such a secluded place that you will cry “IS JUNGLE SE MUJHE BACHAO” on the first day itself. Guys, don’t even plan to take a walk, you may never reach the main road.
The accessibility is utilized by the hotel with vengeance. The taxis standing outside the hotel charge you a ’BOMB’ (that’s’ why hotel name is Bambolim, I suppose) for every trip. Even the nearest trip till the main road will cost you Rs. 500. They refuse to arrange the private cars which are so famous in Goa for personal drive because they also make money from taxi driver though they pretend not to. There is no other transport available and hotel does not arrange even bikes for you to roam around.
In the package for deluxe room, they never mentioned that they will make us sleep in the ‘Jungle Room’ which is badly maintained. On complaint receptionist asked us to meet the manager - who was not available for two days. We felt cheated. Spending Rs. 36000/- and this kind of treatment is pathetic. No Newspaper in the morning, bad lighting, no coffee or tea in the room, dirty bathroom can give an idea to run away on the same day.
There is no way this is a so called 4 star arrangements. They cheat as they know once you are booked you have no other option but to stay.Food is pretty bad and you have no option to go out at dinner time as everything is comes with additional taxi charges. One more thing - Your mobile connection does not work in the resort - and the reason is the distance from the city. Imagine, this is so far even mobile does not work in the resort especially when you are not staying in the main building.
In my opinion, the package tours are arranged in the resort rooms away from the main building which generally no one opts for and remain unoccupied. To fill those rooms they have innovative scheme with tours packages where the tourist can never figure out where they have been cheated as the main building is kept for direct walk-in tourist. The package also promised the departure gift - guess what - they refused. They don’t keep the words. Friends don’t choose this hotel if you need good memories.
