BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY FOUNDED IN 1916 BY MADAN MOHAN MALVIYA JI.As the name suggests it is located in Banaras city of Uttar Pradesh.It is the Asia’s largest residential university having a strength of 20000 students.Spread over an area of around 1300 acres is sufficient to tell about the campus.It has its south campus in Mirzapur , a place 48km from Varanasi.Basically the alumni list is very long.
