It is a makeover show, the brides to be which are selected comes from all walks of life. They are given a chance to have their dream wedding with the best makeover. The famous designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee creates a beautiful lehenga or dress for the bride, they provide skin treatments and other areas the girl wants to work on it could be health, skin, hair etc.
The show gives a small insight into the life of both the bride to be & the groom to be. The show runs on the few days left for marriage where the bride and sometimes the groom are groomed so that they feel as perfect as they can for their big day.
I guess it must be a dream of every girl to wear a Sabyasachi Lehenga(but sadly it doesn’t fit everybody’s budget). The show gives an idea to the other brides(to be) regarding the lehenga, the skin & hair care and other details; everyone cannot be a part of the show but since the contestants(or the brides) are regular girls everyone can try to learn from them. It’s a beautiful show and I believe it sparks a little joy in every girl to get married. I don’t think that there is any other show in the same format; hope they provide such more opportunities to the brides who cannot afford a dream makeover.
