The moment I saw the box of this movie I knew I was going to be watching this movie.
Just the fact that the movie had both Salma and Penelope was enough but what really got me excited was when I remembered this movie is Written and Produced by one of favourite film personalities Luc Besson.
You can never be sure of what to expect from Luc Besson but one thing you can be sure of YOU ARE GOING TO ENJOY THE MOVIE.
This as I correctly predicted was one of Lucs fun movies. So all you have to do is not take this movie seriously pop it in the player sit back and have a rocking time.
THE FOLLOWING PARTS ARE UNNECASSARY IF LUC, SALMA AND PENELOPE AND MAYBE EVEN STEVE ZAHN IN THE SAME MOVIE ARE ENOUGH TO MAKE YOU WATCH THE MOVIE.(If they are then stop reading give me a rating and go get this movie haha).

This movie is Lucs version of Zorro with one apparent difference we have to absolutely stunning women as the heroes here. What eye-candy both the actresses look their ravishing best. However Penelope managed to look better than Salma. Their is no scenes that involves even exposure but both the actresses frequently display their ample bosom. hehe.
The acting is as expected top notch as the entire cast consists of established actors. Special mention to Dwight Yoakam who plays the criminal big American banker in Mexico to the hilt. The modern implications of Big America presiding over the world are not lost. Their is hilarious joke on that too.
The chemistry between the 2 actresses and and Steve Zahnis like fuel and fire. They shine on the screen and make the Short movie (93 min) a super fun roller-coaster ride.
They movie is filled with one great scene after the other a few that immediately come to the mind are the church scene, the first bank robbery and .......
MY FAVOURITE SCENE The scene where Penelope and Salma dressed as showgirls capture Steve Zahn and carry out their experiments on him. THE BOY IN ME HAD A HEART ATTACK AND MY HEART RATE WENT THROUGH THE ROOF. HELL JUST THAT SCENE MAKES THIS MOVIE PERFECT FOR GUYS. The ensuing fight and jealousy over the nerdy Steve will give hopes to 1000s of nerdy guys like me.
The movie has Lucs signature use of classical music in a tense and exciting scene and the background score is not legendary but great nevertheless.
The cinematography is as good as can get for such a movie the rustic beauty of Mexico and its small towns is effectively captured.
The action sequences are good but run of the mill and have an element of humour in it. Fans of Luc will know what Im talking about , its the kind of action one saw in the Fifth Element.
As usual as only some writers do this movie takes a jab at religion, Americans, westerns etc. Hell even the way death and murder is treated in this movie has humour to it. The "over my dead body " scene is another memorable scene that comes to mind.
I saw this movie with 2 girls and even they loved this movie so I can safely say that this movie is recommended for all audiences above the age of 13. If your a bunch of friends including girls then this movie is perfect for get together at home.
A fun movie that cannot be taken seriously and even though it is cinematically as good as the best you can see that even the cast and crew had fun making it.
Do not miss this movie.!!!!
+s Faboulous cast and acting, Luc Besson, host of memorable scenes and one liners, cinematically up there
-s maybe it was the budget or intentional but action scenes were so-so, no big action scenes.
total 8/10 (absolute) (if you consider the fact that it meets expectations and in the category of fun films then its a 9 )
