Bang Bang is a remake of the Hollywood movie knight and day which starred Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. knight and day was not very critically acclaimed. Band band stars Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif. The movie starts with the stealing of the Kohinoor diamond from the British Museum.The British and Indian intelligence agencies try very hard to get their hands on the Kohinoor diamond but apparently it has been stolen by Hrithik Roshan. Hrithik meets Katrina in a cafe where she is apparently for an online date. things quickly escalate and Hrithik and Katrina get into a crossfire.
The movie is very action packed and the action is of Hollywood standard. there is no doubt that quite some amount of money has been spent to make the action look very slick. The area where the movie really lacks is the intelligence. From the promos the movie was looking very promising it was looking very action packed and very tight but when you really watch the movie it is very sloppy and boring.
Hrithik has acted really well he has really got into the skin of the character and many hits someone you really believe that he is eating that person because of the personality has developed for the film. Katrina does not have much scope as far is acting is concerned but she does an okay job.
The direction is very sloppy, but then you can’t expect much from the director of Tara rum pum pum Siddharth Anand.I was very disappointed to see the movie because I had very high hopes from the trailer. hope Bollywood learns a lessom
