Bang Bang was an attempt which was wasted by weak direction and poor script. It focused more on the production values rather than content of the film.

Directed by Siddharth Anand who gave us immensely hilarious Salaam Namaste and forgettable films like Tara Rum Pum, Bachna Ee Haseeno and Anjaana Anjaani adapts yet another Hollywood action Knight and Day. I was expecting a lot from the film since Knight and Day was enthralling and only Hrithik Roshan could have stepped into the shoe of Tom cruise but I was disappointed big time with this flick. Amateurish direction and loose screenplay couldn’t salvage the film from being boredom. Cinematography was enthralling. The film has been shot in amazing parts of the world. Music by Vishal Shekhar is outstanding. Background score is bad. Coming to performances, it is Hrithik Roshan who is the only silver lining in the film. He emotes well and is sparkling in the action sequences. Katrina Kaif looks gorgeous but should start seriously think about her acting and her accent as well( being in the industry more than 10 years).
Overall, I was not satisfied with the end result. The team should have focused more on script and direction rather than spending huge amount of money on the production. Above average- 2.75/5
