I would like to let eveyone know that how a wrong decission can wreck onces life. About 2 years back my life was perfectly fine and peacefull. Earning a decent salary and enjoying my life.Then the disaster struck "I decided to do my MBA", which I always wanted to do. I got couple of offers from some prominent colleges in INDIA and some from abroad.
*My first mistake:"Taking the decission to quit my job"
My second Mistake: "Not taking offer from other colleges which were already established"
My third mistake: JOINING BMA. so called Bangalore management academy*
When I came to this college I was confident and energitic and at that point this college was very new(nacent stage) and I did hear good review and was impressed at the offer of an international degree. I always wanted to get an international MBA, and whatmore do you want when you come to know that the university that u got shortlisted abroad is providing the same degree in ur country and u can save about 10 lak. I decided to join BMA.
I was very happy with the teaching methodolgy as it made you to think practically and corelate your acadimcs to practice. I was very proud that I was beeing coached by some of the renound faculties like Mr. Prasad Rao, Mr. GaneshRaman, Mr. Suresh, Mr Soman Nambir, Dr. Amrita.(The only good thing about BMA/ the assest of BMA). But what to say their effort will simply go down in drain because of the placement team.
The placement team Suck to the core some of the placement offices have know idea as to what they are talking, ( their english is pathetic) and immagin this kind of team going and talking to the corporates. what would be the outcome simple either they would say there is no opening or would give an opening but the salary will be not more that 2 lakhs.( for an investment of 4 laks tution fee+ 16 mths slogging sleepless nights) what a return. Great going.
Now about the management team: There are three directors ROBERT, JOE, AJITH of these three if you have a problem and if its genuin please meet Ajith as he is one who is sensiable and I dont know about Robert as u dont get to see him. Dont ever meet Mr. Joe the fatass and his assistance( the student registry/ the acadmics) the only thing they know is to say NO even before listening to you. The rules at BMA keep changing without any prior notice its like our parliment.(What was accepted yday will not be accepted today) and the worst part the change rules will never be intimated, so is the same with your timetable which acadmics takes care of no idea when and at what time will it change and no intimation, thereby u loosing on attandence if ur not aware of the change. Oflate even the syllabus keep changing some important subjcts are removed( because more students failed in that). great going .
*Inshort please donot join BMA and wreck ur life as ur life is not a gambling machine to gamble with.If you have lot of bankbalance and ur parents have layed out our furture then go ahead.
