After changing name ( BTS to BMTC), BMTC is improving in providing better services to commuters. I have the experience of travelling in other state city busses and as compared to these busses and staff ( Chennai and Mumbai) BMTC is much much better in terms of cleanliness and staff’s behavior .I do not remember of BMTC bus staff going on strike in the recent past. One should appreciate the courage of BMTC and its staff in flying in 90% routes during the recent VHP sponsored bandh. Now, waiting for BMTC bus is not a pain.... as it has constructed so many decent looking bus stops. BMTC’s computerized ( Through sensors at main bus stop) monitoring of bus schedules is prompting most of the staff to stick to schedules.
