Bangalore the real truth.........Part 2
From the last one and a half I have been here in this city and living in kormangala, I have seen the city go from bad to worse, , , , , ,
Urbanisation has its ups and downs, ... unfortunately for this city I see things going only one way thats the downward trend......
Malls and shopping complexes have come up every where, colonies and residential layouts are jam packed with people,
builders wherever they can get hold of our buying out old property and making huge tall apartments and shopping complexes there,
due to all this the local people are suffering and paying the price...
no places to park, pollution, big jams, are just few of the things.......
But the localites also have made ample profits, from this
everywhere u go around u see old houses being broken down and huge houses or buildings coming up, , , ,
house owners moving to top or ground floor and giving rest of the floors on rent at high rates, urbanisation is taking place and everyone wants to jump on the
money making frenzy, specially the local people, Such is the affect or urbanisation that many people have quit jobs, buit 2 to 3 houses with 2 to 3 floors and given all of them on rent, who wouldnt like non taxable income hahahahah....
well so the money making frenzy is on.....
The way property priced and rents have gone up in this city would even put the stock markets to shame .....
Property builders have created lot of Hype and any part of the town u go to or shift too, these high rent, property rates, would follw u,
u can live in koramangala, jaynagar, jp naagar, whitefield, ITPL, Sarjapur, anwhere u go the rents are the same., ....
even prperty prices are the same, , , , , ’
I look back and wonder if it is the same city , it used to be one and a half years ago......
rents have doubled so have the property prices, , , ,
2 br flat 25 lakhs, 3 br flat 40 lakhs....
are they selling flats or villas, such high prices...
Everywhere the status is same...... whichever part you go,
Road conditions are sad and poor, potholes, dugged up roads, everywhere and the condition is same,
traffic condition is poor, most of the roads are becoming one ways still not helping much...
the city is trying to cope up with the presuure of grwoing population and urbanisation, but its a lost batter as far as I see it....
The true bangaloreans , the old timers who lived here from ages are moving out to greener pastures, be it on the outskirts of the city or to neighbouring cities
so that they can live a life of peaceful existence......
with time even the attitudes of bangaloreans are changing, I heard jouncy say one day on Radio city that he no longer thinks bangalore is friendly,
due to the incidents happening in the city...
crime is on the rise , people are scared for safety and security at night....
every city has pubs and night life so does this city........ and its the same thing everywhere any city u go too....
For all the movie buffs I have nothing to say except its sad that in a country Like India where people talk about justice equality , and fundamental rights,
racial and language discrimination is taking place....
Ban on other language films, no releases till 7 weeks, all the things that are being done are not helping the kannada film industry but destroying it, , , ,
state is loosing revenue, so are the halls and exhibhitors, , ,
Piracy is going up as people are still watching all the latest movies be it hindi or english but on Cds,
no one is watching any kannada movies on cds, so piracy is going up and nothing is changing, , , , ,
Its sad to see the state of bangalores bigggest Multiplex, ..
I have been a big PVR fan from the time of its first launch in India back in delhi in saket in 1996, , ,
but seeing its state here, I feel sad for Mr Bijli,
12 great halls have been made in Forum, crores of ruppes been spent,
but the hall is lying close for last 5 months not knowing when it will open,
as all these agitations and bans are not making things easy for them, , , , ,
What a shame , , , , such a shame that Bangalores biggest 12 halls multiplex lies in such a state....
Till the time peolpe done learn that u can breathe by choking someone elses throat things will not imrpove and agiitaion will continue, , , ,
theatres will be broken and burnt down... just because of politics and control of few filmstars.... thats all...
only god knows whats going to happen....
As far as I am concerened I complete 2 years in this city in March....
Today I sit and wonder , is this city any good to continue with,
there may be great jobs, good weather and good people here,
but the infrastructure , roads, taxes and inflation is eating into everything.....
What will happen in the future no one knows....
We all are there to wait and see..... how nature takes its toll....
