This city and its Govt is one of the worst in India perhaps. I have been to many cities in India so far. But nothing dissatifies me like Bangalore Govt and its police. Both I felt, is there to loot people and does the extreme basic function of governance. Nothing more
I tried to take a car in this city - I was truly surprised to find that this city has the worst taxes across India - I have been to Chennai, Kochi and Hyderabad. Just simply continue your work assignment here for an year or so, and then move out. Never think of registering a car in Bngalore.
And the taxis - You goto hire a auto wala, they might literally rob you unless you know kannada properly or knows how to shout with support.
In Chennai, people has been very supportive. But here, people are extremely rude. I don’t know why they are so much rude. Cost of renting a flat or house is really costly compared to cities like Chennai, and Govt will not give you benefit of metro city in taxes.
I truly wanted to move out of this city for another reason - dust. Dust all over the city. In just a couple of years of stay in this city - I finally got Asthma.
Overall, one of the dirtiest, and one of the costliest city in this world. If some other Govt was ruling, they would have made this garden city a true heaven.
