This is my first ever review so I hope u people will forgive me for the mistakes which I will definitely commit. Well here Im gonna talk something bout my trip to bangalore of last year.I still remember it was 17th of july 2007, i was packing my bags n was raring to join my friends in bangalore who were already there in search of jobs.
I was all ready , i board the train along with one of my frd at night n till I reached bangalore it was all so comfortable.
When we reached the city we boarded n auto rickshaw n he told us that he will charge 40 Rs to go to the nearby hotel.we agreed n went in the auto, as we reached the hotel he told us that 40 bugs was for one person n we had to give him 80 rs, grrrrrrr.
OK fine, the hotel was ok , food was not bad as well.
After resting for one day, we started our job search from the next morning, it was all so difficult, as we have to walk a lot in search of companies which were conducting walkins.
After a long tiring day we went to a shop n I asked the shopkeeper to give me a mango shake, i waited n waited a lot, at the end he came up serving me with maggi.........i was like shocked.
I yelled at him dat I have ordered mango shake n not maggi................all he told me is dat"Mango ILLA"
Dat means mango was not there(which I came to know the next day from a south indian frd)
After that I got a job in an international BPO n I worked for around 2 months n I didnt face any problem afterwards.
On the whole I think Bangalore is a nice place, having some beautiful parks n MG road is a happening place specially at night hours.Other things to attract the tourists are the museums n botanical garden. The drawback of the city is the language barrier, specially with the shopkeepers n autorickshaws , rest is fine according to me..
I dont know whether it was worth a review or not but I dont feel shy of expressing myself n trying things. But I think I can only improve from this point.
Hope to write better reviews in future.
