No Life No Fun

After having spent most of my life in Bombay, I came to Bangalore following all the hype. After 2 years it remains just that. I waited two long years hoping things would improve, but they dint and now I am finally moving out.

Pros:

good climate.

lots of space ( getting lesser by the day)

less crowded.

Cons:

no life after dark.

no shopping.

no drinking.

big-headed people

not at all a cosmopolitan culture.

always start comparing the city ...nah the town..with bombay or delhi..i mean..plz...duh

People say Bangalore is less crowded..i mean it has to be ..it is not a big city people make it to be. it doesnt have a decent transport system. the best way to get around is rickshaw..the buses suck....people dont know any language other than kannada..and heck they call themselves cosmopolitan...

No theares...no dvds...no computer shops....gardens are big open spaces with shrubs...the crowd is much much better in delhi and in bombay...

Bangalore had the advantage of watching other cities grow and adapt accordingly..but no..they city has been built hap-hazardly..no sense of civic culture...

Despite being less crowded...there are traffic jams....people here think having a chat with a girl means they have finally made it...and most of all they are very very xenophobic...bombay with all its populance..massiveness...diversity...amazing variety..choices in food, clothes, tastes, outlooks..beats bangalore hands down.

And it comes down to one thing..outlook of the common man towards foreigners

(which includes northies, westies and easties).
