Announced some 2.5 yrs back, Started some 1.5 yrs back and released yesterday.Bangaram-means gold in telugu.Its the name of hero in this movie.Came with a tagline, 24 carat action.What I found is 24 carat over blooded action.I am not an ardent fan of him but like his movies.Review-

Story:Pawan Kalyan is a Reporter in a tv news channel.On a fine day, he loses his job for losing a video cassette(Which holds his interview with a terrorist).He tries to woo mukesh rishi, who is a close relative of the tv channels m.d to get a job.Once, he saves the daughters(Meera Chopra, and a sibling) of Mukesh Rishi from factionists.Meera Chopra loves Raja and wants to run away with him as her dad fixes her marriage with another factionists brother.And the Hero takes the job of uniting the lovers and the rest is predictable.The queer thing of the movie is that Pawan does not have a heroine.He is just a saviour to heroine who’s in love with another man.The basic theme is very similar to Soggadu(Tarun, Arti Agarwal, Jugal Hansraj), which came last year.But in that movie, had different climax, with the girl ditching her lover and uniting with the saviour.
Performance:Pawan Kalyan excels in his role.He performed well in action sequences.Also in comedy scenes.
Raja:He is OK.
Meera Chopra:Good acting.Appeared in full clothes.
Reema Sen:Limited to songs.Less in acting.Just included for some glamour.
Trisha:A surprise package.
Songs:Better not mention.his previous movies, Badri, Kushi, Johnny, Balu had some good music.I personally dont like the songs of this movie.Songs are a let down.
Direction:Ok.
Verdict:First half is ok.Second half is dragged and the the fights are too many filled with blood.(Over Action)This movie is very crucial for Pawan because his previous 3 films, Johnny, Gudumba Shankar, Balu-a b c d e f g were flops.Watch it if you like Pawan Kalyan and some blood action.
Facts:1.Someone said to me that this movie costed between 20-25 crores!!!??.2.Announced some 2.5 years back.Took some one year to start shooting, reason?Strong script.Shot for over an year and released yesterday.
