Tejas Gore reviews BANJO

’BANJO’

Release Date- 23rd September, 2016

As the name itself says Banjo is a lost instrument which had/has lost it identify. Till early 2000’s and late 90’s this instrument was the most used during festivals and orchestras. People who played Banjo have disappeared so has the instrument.

Banjo is an attempt to revive the lost music and certainly it will.

Ravi Jadhav along with his team have given a well crafted and well executed film. Reteish Deshmukh has been experimenting with his roles and new looks. He is now venturing into Marathi Commercial films as well as trying solo hindi films. Iam sure he will reap benefits out of his experiments.

Other actors like Nargis and Dharmesh Yelande have played their part very well. Nargis who plays a role of NRI comes to India in search of these Banjo players.

Her’muhje-hindi-aati-nahi-but iam trying’ accent helped her grab this role.

the movie is quiet entertaining with all the action drama with a mix of little romance.

Songs like’Rada’ and’Udan Cho’ are the result of Vishal-Shekars talent.
