The story is banjo is pretty formulaic. The execution & supporting performances are heartfelt. The music could have been better enough. Director Ravi jadhav has to be appreciated for taking the film to the slum of mumbai. Vishal shekhar has also given some terrific tunes to the film. The picturization & composition of the Ganapati song in the start and the final as well as Rada song scores high marks but as a film with a music at its core, banjo is a very confused film. Banjo would have been a really good entertainer, if the film had stuck to what the title had actually promised, instead of giving importance to other subplots. If you are a mumbailkar then this is a one time watch for you.
