BANK of baroda is a very famous, well known and one of the very first banks of india.i heard a lot if good things regarding their service & customer support.
But my experience with them was not so friendly.
My parents have a joint account in hadapsar pune branch since pat 4 yeara whose ifsc is BARB0HADAPS, had no problem with bank regarding service.
Everything is connected woth this bank like lpg subsidy, salary & all.so we never thought to switch account to another bank.
Here are some insane incidents happened to us.
1.net banking.
I recommended my father to use net banking so that we can do internal transfer with ease.ao papa submited form to provide net banking facility.for twice they lost it. Third time we again given form to them & it took 3 months to get user id & password.
When we recd that envelope we tried to register it online.everytime I tried it was showing userid or password is wrong while entering it correctly.i several times contacted to cuatomer care but no positive response from them.still the net banking issue is pending.
Debit card issue.
Similarly my father had given form for new debit card coz the older one wasnt wprking properly.after 2 months they told that they have not received any application for new card.
Okay agree that they have not recd, but then why did they blocked old card?
There is no point to argue with them.they will only talk nonsense things with you.
Bank of baroda service is really good, but I got really disappointed woth the service of this branch.
