I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Bank of Baroda. The banks technical backwardness is truly astonishing in this day and age. I needed to get my account name changed and, despite presenting all the necessary applications and valid ID documents, I was asked to issue an affidavit in a newspaper. This archaic requirement is both unnecessary and time-consuming, reflecting poorly on the banks ability to keep up with modern standards.
The entire process was frustrating and seemed designed to discourage customers from making simple updates to their accounts. Other banks have straightforward procedures for such changes, often completed online or with a simple in-branch visit. Bank of Baroda’s outdated and cumbersome methods are a significant inconvenience, making me seriously consider switching to a more technologically advanced and customer-friendly bank.
If you value efficiency and modern banking practices, I would strongly advise against choosing Bank of Baroda.
