"Tomorrow your ATM card will be activated" They said. Now after 15 days, damn! After 15 days when checked the atm is still not activated. I called them in the morning. And the after 3 to 4 different numbers given finally I got connected to an arrogant girl. I think she is getting paid for the attitude she is showing to the customers. She asked for me so many banking terms which I was frankly unaware.
I disconnected the call and took all the information she needed. I just wanted to know why my account was not activated. She says the server was down kind of reason.. for 15 days! Then she took my details and said she will activate today. Before leaving the office I called her and asked whether ATM is activated or not, she said "Yes" and disconnected the call!
And I dont know why this ATM services are so worst here in Sharja. I went far and only atm near my place and checked the balance. It said"Card is not accessible". I got disappointed. I wanted to transfer the money urgently to my home so I walked almost 2km to go to a the BOB atm. There it says "card is unauthorized" the same msg I was getting when the card was not activated.
Now I want to ask you BOB managers is this the way to treat with a customer. Even I work for a company where I deal with my customers but I never lied and disrespected them. I can reveal the details but still Im worried about that ba#$%## future. But I want the explanation here. Why you guys take 15-20 days of time to activate a simple atm card?!
