Hello dear friends, today I am going to review the services offered by Bank Of India.If any one of you planning to open the bank account in coming days in Bank Of India, please read my this review.This review will help you alot.
Banking: The services are offered by BOI includes opening of Saving and Current A/C, Debit cards, Credit Cards, Cheque books, Phone Banking, Internet banking, UPI payments from BHIM, Chillr and other UPI payment apps.
Service Quality: Guys beleive me, the banking service s are very poor in BOI.Recently I opted BOI savings A/C in second week of last month and I applied for VISA debit card and net banking kit through forms which i’ve submitted and still I havn’t received my Debit Card and NetBanking kit.
The cheque book I received 4 days ago before holi holidays and I collected it from bank in 1 hr time.First one person from staff was searching for My chequebook and after that when he found my chequebook then he taken my signature on paper and then verified from the database although I provided my ID proofs including Aadhar and PAN card but then also he verified. I asked that why I am not receiving this chequebook at my address then he said that you are from 9 km away from BOI branch and you have to collect it through the branch only.
Phone Banking: Guys the phone banking toll free number 1800 22 0229 is of no use.The call will connect hardly and if connect you will not be able to complain your problem because it will disconnect forcefully after sometime.
Net Banking: The app’s UI is too hazy, You will feel cheap third class experiance.I think app delevopers are in Child mode.Even the Computer webpage of netbanking is also too bad.
If you will compare it with SBI you will find that this app is of cheap quality.Forget to compare with Axis or HDFC bank.
Also there are so much features which are missing like new Debit Card issue, Chequebook issue etc.
ATM Service: Guys they hardly have cash in their ATM’s.These ATM’s are Dabba.And if they have cash then they put only ₹2000 notes and no other denominations.
If you need ₹1500, then you have to fill ₹2000 in the ATM.Because they don’t have ₹500 or ₹100 notes.
Customer Service: Customer service is very poor.No one from the staff will even bother that you came bank for some work.You will see long ques inside the bank and in ATM.
Final words: Guys I don’t recommend this bank to anyone.If you are a guy who want better services.please go for other banks like Axis, HDFC and even SBI.
