Banker Heart Institute, Surat, is a fraud hospital, meant to loot patients. The team of doctors is completely incompetent and consists of junior doctors carrying Ayurveda/BHMS degrees, prescribing allopathic medicines. The staff is ill-trained and rude.
Recently, I had a terrible experience in the hospital when my sister, diagnosed for Covid-19, was admitted into HDU for 5 days, and they slapped a bill of 2.50 lacs in spite of the fact that my sister did not require any specialized treatment and ventilator. They inflated the bills and charged 30000 rupees per day for the room. It is a clear violation of administrative order issued by SMC Commissioner, that caps HDU rate as Rupees 12600 per day. They kept my sister in illegal confinement till we agreed to pay them 2.50 lac rupees for 5 days treatment.
I have filed a criminal complaint against them under section 188(violation of administrative orders), 406(criminal breach of trust), 420(cheating), 342(illegal confinement) and 383(extortion) in the Police Station as well as moving forward with filing a case in the Consumer Court of Surat.
You must avoid this hospital at any cost. Rude staff, incompetent doctors and cheating attitude characterize the hospital.
