Spreaded in 25, 000 acre, the national park is located about 22 km south of Bangalore in the hills of the Anekal .
The park has a hilly terrain of granite sheets under moist deciduous forest valleys and scrubland on higher areas. It has a a reptile park and a small theater inside. Best tourist attraction is white tigers, they are more than six in numbers.
The park offers safari excursions managed and supported by the KSRTC. You can Go for Safari to see lion and tigers roaming around, but will have to be in a big queue for long time. There is a butterfly park near by but there is nothing to watch inside it, they are not maintaining it properly. Its too small and charges are also too high.
