Worth a while !!!

Had been to the bannerghatta national park over the weekend. For starters, the onward journey from rajajinagar( we took the mysore road) guaged for around 2 hours . all through the city and more. We felt that we were quite late after having reached the park at around 11:00.

My eyes were immediately transfixed on the Butterfly garden, which boasted of more than 2000 varieties of species within its dome. It was quite a memorable place, especially the museum that shed some light on the same.

We then haeded towards the safari rides, which were in two different packages. One was the tiger and lion safari which costed 90 bucks for an adult and 55 for a child on weekends, and the other was a grand safari which included a bear and a herbivore safari( 125 for adults and 60 for children, I suppose). And as I was not interested in long queues(which were for the grand safari), I decided to jump into the normal one. It took about an hour for us to get our turn to board our bus, and in general was fun. The safari lasted for around 20 minutes and was thoroughly enjoyable.

We then headed for the zoo, and this was somethin which I was not much impressed about. Probably for the lack of space, the zoo hardly had any content within it, esp when compared to that in different other cities(where I have been to). Nevertheless, its worth a 2 hour trip out there.

We packed our bags at around 4:30 and headed back to the city. It was a memorable trip, and on whole a 3/5 with ease!
