Bar B Q is the biggest, in terms of cover, restaurant of calcutta , spread over three sections. One is fine dining, other is indian and the third is chinese. It is centrally situated in park street, easily accessible from all parts of calcutta. The quality of food is very nice, specially chinese, which is its speciality. The fine dining restaurant, flavours of china, is bit expensive when compared to the normal chinese Bar B Q. They have a well stocked bar serving all kinds of liquor. The patron are mixture of family and businessman.
The tables are not spread out , which I believe is the only drawback. The diners are little cramped for space. The restaurants are packed at all times and prior booking is advisable during weekdays too. Normal waiting time is between 45 minutes to 90 during weekends .The staffs are also courteous and serve the dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. And not to forget the fact that each children visitor is handed over a balloon everytime they dine there. So, what are you waiting for.. dress, set in motion and off to Park Street.
