I’ve been visiting Barbecue nation from a long time. My favorite outlet was Jang Pura - which unfortunately got closed, also apart from Delhi I also visited BBQ Nation in Bangalore and Kolkata where I had delightful experience.
Now - My last two visits - 1 at Laxmi Nagar and another was yesterday 19-10-2025 at Connaught Place -
The washroom was not very clean and smelly
Didn’t had a very good experience, The serving staff were very nice as always. But I noticed some flaws in service like -
I asked for my favorite cocktail - Bloody Mary - which was denied - it takes Vodka, tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, tabasco sauce, lemon juice, salt and some pepper powder - I guess that were not available . Asked for 1 Mojito - which again was horrible in taste . felt like I wasted money ordering cocktail altogether - staff handling bar need to be trained - I guess
Now about the food - Barbecued items were all very tasty and well replenished on request
Some of the serving staff were acting like they were forced to serve and not happy on request made.
Now about the Buffet - it was a disaster - Food taste were not good - Dal Makhni taste was awful, same was for Chicken curry - chickens were half cooked. Similar experience I had on my last visit to BBQ Nation in Laxmi Nagar too. The Buffet food taste are pathetic nowadays .
I noticed - every time anyone raises any issue with any staff regarding food quality - they try to pacify the guest - offering freebies or gifting extra items - but the issue I guess never gets addressed on taste or quality of the food. This definitely works for people who are first or second time visiting Barbecue Nation, but for people like us who are visiting for years - I feel the quality for which we visited numerous times is gone - so why wasting money
I am wondering whether I should stop visiting Barbecue Nation anymore and should search for other similar outlets
