I went to the Barbeque Nation, JP Nagar for the first time in November, 2008. I went back after that twice in December and January. Each time I found the service superlative and with a smile.
I would recommend reserving a table in advance as the restaurant is pretty full even on weekdays. During the Barbeques of the World Festival, the starters were really good. The food is so good that I am unable to sample everything as I overeat so much of the starters :).
Even though I am a non-veg, the roasted potatoes and grilled mushroom are great. So are the prawns and the chicken starters. The dips and the sauces provided are good too. I didnt like the paneer one as it is very bland. This time they had a welcome drink and my cocktail which was blue in color was quite yummy. I also loved the Crab Gassi and the spicy mushrooms. The desserts especially the mudpie was great and so was the banana pie. The tiramisu was like whipped cream with coffee powder, avoidable.
Really, each time we went, we got to sample different fare and like I said the food was all good. Great concept too of grilling at the table. The fixed price menu of Rs. 275 + taxes is great value for money in which only the starters are limited to chicken and veg but the quantities are unlimited. The staff is courteous and polite and everything is hygienic. The glass kitchen looks quite fascinating too.
Its a superb place and a must visit for all those who love good food.
