Located in JP Nagar 3rd phase on the Ring Road is the "Barbeque Nation". I was there on a weekend dinner and I must admit, it was a indeed and elegant dining place.
The ambience was appealing and the service was always prompt and accompanied with a smile. That makes the eating experience much more better one must agree.
There were a wide array of Salads to choose from. Each complementing the barbeques that were served. The salads included the Chicken and Coleslan, Russian salad, Pesto Pasta, an oriental salad with rice grains and diced veggies, the brocoli babycorn salad tender and fine, the bell-pepper and egg salad that was tangy and smooth too and the Cuhari mushroom salad.
The barbeques on menu were Chicken Sestawook golden and succulent, Mutton methi seekh, the barbeque sea fish with Chermula prawns hot and crisp accompanied with the Angara tangdi flaming red and real tasty. The best part is you can order any of them any number of times and barbeque them on your own table with a sauce or dip of your choice until you drop your flag down at the table!
Main course in the buffet was an assortment of non-veggie and veggie dishes. There was Methi chicken gravy superbly cooked to bring out the methi aroma, Fish kolhapuri, Mutton Rogan ghosh to be eaten with Rotis, Naans, Kulchas and Mutton Dum Biryani and ofcourse finely cooked aromatic white rice.
Veggies had a choice of paneer and baby corn gravies.
In the end was a wide variety of desserts to choose from, you could indulge yourself in the Choco Celeb(pastry), the German cheese cake, Apple strendral, the pineapple soufflé, own very own phirnee, jamoons and ice-cream with strawberry and kiwi sauce toppings.
Alcohol is also served and is priced a bit on the higher side.
Overall a satisfying menu and a filled tummy.
