I have eaten at all the bbq nation branches in Bangalore expecting something nice & different everytime, but my luck dumped me all the time. My last visit created such a negative impact (i fell sick) & now I am really not sure if I would ever give them another chance. The waiters are courteous but would take forever to fulfill your requests. A few times I was served warm pints in spite of me requesting for cold ones. This is not a place for a peaceful dinner / lunch because there is always a constant BUZZ & kids run all over the place.
All the meat starters (Fish, Prawn, Chicken) except the mutton sheek kabab carry the same flavour & taste. The buffet spread is pretty extensive but stale (Except the Crab Indiana & a green mutton gravy...goes well with pulkas/rotis/naan/parathas).
How can I forget about the Biriyani....I ate one of the worst Biriyani here..very insipid .The salads & pastas were decent but that is not something that beaconed me to bbq nation. The dessert spead is extensive but very average..truffles, rubber gulab jamums & cheap Hershey’s chocolate fudge with vanilla ice cream.
I have tasted everything in their spread in spite of the negatives & have suffered from flatulence & acidity consistently.
I wish they could sincerely work on improving the quality of food & take the bbq concept to a different level. PS : This is purely my opinion & it is not meant to hurt anybody
